Best free bot for Volatility 75 and how to judge one

How to pick the best free bot for Volatility 75 on Deriv: what to check in the bot file, which limits matter, and the things no bot can promise you.

There is no single best free bot for Volatility 75, and anyone who names one is guessing. What there is instead is a short list of things to look at in a bot before you let it run on that index, and a shorter list of things no bot can promise. This post covers both. If you want to try a bot on Volatility 75 today, load a free one in Bot Forge, run it on a demo account first, and read the blocks before you touch the real balance.

Trading on these markets loses money for many people. A bot does not change that. It only changes how fast the decisions get made.

Volatility 75 moves more than the lower indices, and that is the whole problem

Volatility 75 is one of Deriv's synthetic indices. It sits above Volatility 10, 25 and 50 and below Volatility 100, and it also has a one second version that produces ticks far faster. The name tells you what you are dealing with: bigger swings than the quieter indices in the same family.

That matters when you are choosing a bot, because most free bots are written without any particular index in mind. A bot with a fixed stake and a fixed duration can behave one way on Volatility 10 and another way entirely on Volatility 75, with no change to the code at all. The bot did not get worse. The market underneath it got wider.

So the first question is not "which bot" but "what does this bot assume". If the answer is small, steady movement, Volatility 75 will find that out quickly.

What to look at inside a free bot before you run it

Open the bot and read it. In a block based builder the logic is visible, so there is no excuse for running something you have not looked at. These are the parts worth your attention.

  • The market and contract type it is set to. A bot shipped for one index will happily run on another. Check that the market block actually says Volatility 75, and check whether the contract is rise and fall, higher and lower, or a digit contract.
  • The stake, and whether it stays the same. A fixed stake behaves predictably. A stake that grows after a loss does not, and on a fast index it can grow through your balance faster than you expect to read the screen.
  • The duration. A one tick trade and a five minute trade are different bets on the same index.
  • The stop loss and the target. If the bot has no loss limit, you are the loss limit, and you will not always be watching.
  • How many conditions it needs before it trades. A bot that trades on every tick will trade a lot. Volume is not the same thing as edge.

If a bot file arrives from somewhere else as an XML file, the same reading applies. Bot Forge reads bot files from the older builders, so a file written in Binary Bot or DBot can be loaded and inspected block by block rather than run blind.

The limits are the part of the bot that actually protects you

On a fast index, the limits do more work than the entry logic. A loss limit stops the session. A target stops it too, which sounds like a strange thing to want until you have watched a good session give everything back.

Decide both numbers before the bot starts, in money you would be willing to lose today, and set them in the tool rather than in your head. Auto Trader places trades from BancaBot's signals and stops at the limits the trader sets, including a loss limit and a target. A bot built in Bot Forge can carry its own limit blocks. Either way, the limit only works if it is written down somewhere the software can read.

Free bots, paid bots, and what the price does not tell you

The free bot library in Bot Forge can be loaded, changed and run, and the AI signals and the digit analyzer are free to use as well. There are paid plans for the premium bots, and you can see the pricing on the site.

What the price does not tell you is how a bot will behave on Volatility 75. A paid bot is not safer because it cost something, and a free bot is not worse because it did not. The thing that separates them is whether the logic suits the index and whether the limits are set. That is a reading job, not a shopping job.

Where signals and the digit analyzer fit

Not everything that helps on Volatility 75 is a bot. BancaBot's AI signals read the market and show one call per market with the reasoning behind it, and the trader decides what to do with it. The digit analyzer reads the last digits of Deriv's synthetic indices and shows one pick for the next tick, with every card that led to it.

Both are readable. That is the point of showing the reasoning: you can disagree with it. A bot that only shows you a trade tells you nothing you can learn from.

What no bot can promise on Volatility 75

No bot can promise a win rate, a return, or a recovery after a losing run. No bot can promise it will not hit your loss limit. Anything described as guaranteed, risk free or passive income is describing something that does not exist on this market.

What a bot can do is follow rules without getting tired, stop when told to stop, and do the same thing on Tuesday that it did on Monday. That consistency is worth having. It is not the same as an edge, and no amount of backtesting on a fast index turns one into the other.

How BancaBot connects to your account

You sign in with your own Deriv account through Deriv's OAuth screen. The permission asked for is trading only, which lets BancaBot read the account balance and place trades. It cannot withdraw, cannot move money and never sees a password. BancaBot is not Deriv, it is not a broker, and it never holds anyone's money.

Real and demo accounts both work, and a demo account is the sensible place to start on Volatility 75, because it is the cheapest way to find out what a bot's assumptions cost.

Pick one free bot, read its blocks, set a loss limit and run it on demo in Bot Forge before it sees real money.

Questions

Is there one best free bot for Volatility 75?

No. A bot is a set of rules, and how those rules behave depends on the market, the stake, the duration and the limits it runs with. The useful question is whether a given bot's assumptions suit a faster index, and whether it stops when you tell it to.

Can I run a bot written for another volatility index on Volatility 75?

You can change the market block and run it, and many free bots are set up to allow exactly that. The risk is that the rest of the bot was tuned around narrower movement. Test the change on a demo account and watch how often it trades and how large the swings in balance become.

Does a free bot need a stop loss if I am watching it?

Yes. You will not watch every session all the way through, and a fast index does not wait for you to come back to the screen. Setting a loss limit and a target in the tool means the software enforces them whether you are there or not.

Can I load an old XML bot file into Bot Forge?

Bot Forge reads bot files from the older builders, so a file made in Binary Bot or DBot can be loaded there. Once it is loaded, open it and read the blocks rather than pressing run, so you can see the market, the stake behaviour and the limits before anything is placed.

Trading on Deriv puts your money at risk, and automation does not change that. Practise on a demo account first and only trade money you can afford to lose.
